Summary[]

Giorno Giovanna is the illegitimate son of Dio Brando in Jonathan Joestar's body, and is the fifth "JoJo" in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and the main protagonist of Part V: Vento Aureo. Born in Japan as Haruno Shiobana, he moves with his mother to Italy when she marries his new stepfather. Years later, in 2001, he is encountered by Koichi Hirose after he had been informed by Jotaro Kujo about his lineage. His intentions reveal that he wants to become a "Gang-Star" and later become the Boss of Neopolitan Gang Passione. After fighting Bruno Bucciarati and passing Polpo's trial, he joins the Gang, becomes involved in a week-long mission of protecting Trish Una, and then aids Bruno in betraying the Gang and to assassinate the Boss of Passione.

In the showdown with the Boss, he acquires the Requiem Arrow and upgrades his Stand from Gold Experience to Gold Experience Requiem.

Powers and Abilities:

Giorno and Golden Experience have the following abilities from the Stand Physiology, Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Enhanced Senses (Can sense nearby life and soul energy), Life Manipulation (can inject life into the things it touches, turning inanimate objects into living beings, age them to the point of exhausting their life spans, make an opponent senses go berserk and feel something like for example the duration of pain seem longer then in reality, create body parts for Healing, even created life from the cells of a turtle), Resistance to Disease Manipulation (Vaccinated himself with the blood of an animal immune to Fugo Stand Purple Haze virus, saving himself from being infected even more)

Non-Physical Interaction (a pirahna could wound the Stand Baby Face from the inside and regular ants could move in Diavolo Stand King Crimson's hand), Attack Reflection (Anybody damaging any animal or plant will immediately have their attacks reflected back at them. This doesn't apply to the body parts infused with Gold Experience though), Adaptation (a brick in an area exposed to a virus was turned into a snake, with immunity to said virus), Enhanced Senses (most animals have these), Poison Manipulation (snakes and scorpions for example), Flight (birds and mosquitoes for example)

All previous abilities to a much greater extent (JoJo A-GoGo! states that its abilities as well as its stats like power and speed have greatly increased upon achieving Requiem. This is demonstrated by its ability to use its base life abilities on a stone pillar without directly touching it, something its base form would need to do otherwise), Causality Manipulation (Can nullify actions and willpower by reverting them to "zero", making them return to the point they started, [as if they never happened], even if they were events fated to happen, making these actions a "truth that will never be reached" from the opponent), Energy Projection (Shot raw energy at Diavolo), BFR (Whoever is hit from GER will be reduced to zero and sent to another reality, where their lives will be reverted to zero, meaning that at the very moment of their death, their life will restart in another way, over and over again, in infinite ways all different from each other)

Attack Potency: Street physically (As a peak human, he should be comparable with Josuke and Kakyoin), Multi Block with Stand (Can contend with Sticky Fingers despite being weaker and said Stand excelling in power at close range) | Wall physically, Multi Block+ with Stand (Effortlessly stomped King Crimson. JoJo A-GoGo! stated that GER surpassed any canon Stand in statistics so much that is impossible to measure the gap with the already existing system of measuring the Stand statistics, meaning that is far superior to Stands such as Star Platinum and The World in strength, the former often praised throughout the original series as the "ultimate stand" and the latter being its direct equal in its prime)

Durability: At least Street physically (Tanked without any signs of damage an huge fall. Survived being in a car crash), possibly higher (Took a punch from Green Day, albeit was still injured from it). Speed: FTLx reactions physically (Tore off his arm to launch a counter attack faster than Stinky Fingers despite the latter being in mid-attack. Can react to Black Sabbath's attacks and grabs; said Stand is fast enough to blitz Echoes Act 3) FTLx reactions and combat speed with Stand (Can keep up with Sticky Fingers, who excels in speed) | FTLx reactions physically. At least FTLx, likely Infinite with Stand (Blitzed King Crimson several times. Was able to move and act in erased time, which Diavolo noted only he and King Crimson should be capable of. WoG stated that GER surpassed any canon Stand in statistics so much that is impossible to measure the gap with the already existing system of measuring the Stand statistics, meaning that it is far superior to stands in speed to the likes of Silver Chariot, Red Hot Chili Pepper, and even that of Star Platinum and The World. Due to far surpassing every other canon Stand, this would also make it superior to Made in Heaven who's rated with Infinite in speed due to be able to accelerate his own speed up overtime from being able to match and surpass Star Platinum to eventually Infinity and is not affected from the Universal Time Acceleration that occurs at its endpoint)

Intelligence: Genius (A very competent analyzer of the situations around him, and a skilled tactician and leader. Giorno is always calm and analyzes foes, friends, passersby and the environment around to have a read on situations. He can speculate or make deductions of what is not shown in plain sight, or just detect traps, abnormalities, and weaknesses. He has used this mid-combat to set up traps to give himself an idea of what his foes were doing and what they would do, silently acting in response. Fugo, who has genius level intellect due to having a previous academic background prior to joining Passione, has made multiple accounts of the impressive way Giorno thinks and acts. It is noteworthy that a part of the downsides he perceives in foes are due to Stands having specific gimmicks that, although powerful, are not perfect and may have some feature that can be exploited to overcome them, which is still impressive for him to deduct. Some of these complicated stand abilities that he figured out are Illuso's and Melone's stand abilities. He also figured out that Diavolo was possessing one of the team with limited information. He can creatively maneuver around a variety of diverse situations by using the many options given by the abilities of his Stand, or by instructing his partners to use their powers properly. He took over the powerful mafia known as Passione after killing its leader, which requires dealing with a number of managements, and aiming to end its selling of drugs)

Stamina: High. Giorno has consistently shown himself being able to endure many things and keep on going, from jumping out of a moving train, to having his throat removed and staying alive long enough to figure out how to use his stand creatively in healing. He was also able to remain alive despite being shot and having his throat chomped on.

Range: Standard melee range. Extended melee range with Gold Experience (Gold Experience has a short range of 2 meters) and with his life giving ability | Standard melee range. Extended melee range with Gold Experience Requiem (Gold Experience Requiem has a short range of several meters) and with Extended melee range with his life giving ability. Universal+ with Return to Zero (Nullified Diavolo's Time Skip, which is implied having this much range along with the other Time-based powers from WoG), Low Multiversal with BFR (The Death Loop happens in another reality separated from the main universe)

Noteworthy Techniques and Abilities[]

Gold Experience: Giorno's Stand. Gold Experience is a yellow, humanoid Stand with green ladybug-themed decor scattered across various parts of its body. It uses melee attacks, but could also attack with lifeforms it creates.

  • Life Creation: Anything Giorno or Gold Experience touches that is abiotic will be able to become a life form of Giorno's choosing. Said organisms birthed can be preset to have advantages an evolved organism would have (i.e., immunity to a virus or life sensory), and Giorno commands any of their possible actions. If he gives life to an object inside a person, then he can even spawn animals inside people.
    • Life Preservation: Anything that was created into a living organism, once created, will never be able to be harmed. Any attempts or damage meant to connect with an object modified by Gold Experience will reflect at the person or object attacking it and damage them, possibly killing/destroying them.
    • Organ Creation: Gold Experience can turn inanimate objects into pieces of a human body or organ that can replace any damaged or removed ones from Giorno or anyone else he wishes to help. This can be seen as a special form of "healing", but the process of replacing said organs is described as complicated and painful.
  • Life Giving: Anything that is already living that is punched or touched by Gold Experience will get a boosted amount of life. On humans, their thought processing accelerates to the point of them not being able to "correlate correctly" between body and mind. Senses are amplified and feel prolonged during this time (i.e., the duration of feeling pain would seem to increase, but in reality, it is normal).

Gold Experience Requiem: GER is a yellow humanoid Stand that is an upgraded form of Gold Experience. Its key feature is the head of the Stand Arrow placed on its forehead. It uses melee attacks and seems to have a voice and personality of its own. It can operate outside of Giorno's consciousness, and still retains the original abilities of Gold Experience.

  • Return to Zero: GER can take the entirety of something and revert it to a previous state. This includes any action the target takes and leaves GER unaffected by it (i.e., Giorno would be affected by time stop, but GER would not). This puts anything it affects in a constant loop of being put back to zero depending on what GER has done to the target. If GER was to kill a target, they would be constantly put in an infinite loop of deaths, each one varying from the next. The ability can be described as taking the "effect" out of "cause and effect".
